| REV. NATHAN DAVIS was born Jan. 28, 1880 and passed from this life August 4, 1969 at the age of 89. He is survived by his wife Maggie Palston Davis, 2 sons James Hubert Davis and Hobert Wayne Davis, and 4 daughters, Mrs. Sallie King, Mrs. Gertie Lindsey, Mrs. Violet Hornback and Mrs. Hazel Dillingham, 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Rev. Davis professed faith in Christ at the age of 27. He started to preach about 52 years ago and was ordained as a United Baptist minister. He was a faithful minister and member of Stockholm U- nited Baptist Church which he attended until he was forced to re- tire because of poor health. He was a wonderful husband, father and neighbor. |
