Rather than going to as many countries as possible, and trying to rack up a numerical total, my travels have been more oriented towards exploring regions.  I travel for specific purposes.  A few are listed below:

  • To hike the Amazon Rain Forest and boat along the Amazon River
  • To explore the Castles and Monasteries of Europe (I've lost count of how many)
  • To explore Ancient Mayan Cities in Central America (16 sites altogether)
  • To explore Ancient Inca and Pre-Inca Sites Peru (10 sites altogether)
  • To hike in a Northern Latitude Tundra
  • To snorkel both of the World's Great Barrier Reefs (Belize and Australia)
  • To go on Safari in Africa (4 altogether)
  • To explore Arabic Bazaars, Palaces, and Forts
  • To hike on and around Glaciers
  • To explore Native American Cultures
  • To trace the Viking Voyages to reach North America
  • To explore ancient SE Asian temples and ruins
  • To explore Inca and Pre-Inca ruins of the Bolivia
  • More adventures to be added as I complete them
