A little about me...
•
I was a public school Special Education teacher for 15 years.
• I taught students with special needs at the Elementary, Middle,
and High School Levels.
• I am certifed to teach students with Learning and Behavior Disorders,
grades K-12; students with Moderate and Severe Disabilities, grades
K-12; Elementary Education, grades 1-8; and as a Director of Special
Education.
• My research interests include Special Education Teacher Education
and Culturally Responsive Teaching in Special Education.
• In the undergraduate Exceptional Education program I teach
° Assessment course
° Mild and Moderate/Severe Curriculum Methods
° Field Experiences.
• In the graduate program, I teach
° Advanced Prescriptive Teaching
° Families and Professionals
• In my spare time I enjoy attending my son's sporting and school
events, reading, traveling and shopping!
