Task 3

During Reading Activity

Shh...This activity requires you to do the activity while reading the book! That is why it is called a during reading activity. Below you will find task 3.

Directions:

1. The MANAGER needs to print out ONE copy of the Character Literature Map and hand it to the SCRIBE.

2. The READER needs to read the directions aloud.

3 At this time the READER will begin reading the book: So You Want to Be President?
*Make sure that you pay attention to the reading and that you listen carefully*

(If you hear a characteristic about a certain individual that you are to write down--raise your hand and the reader will stop and call on that group member.)

3. The SCRIBE is to record what the other members of the group say.

4. The MANAGER needs to make sure that the discussion stays on task and gets completed.

5. Once the worksheet is completed, the REPORTER needs to read the recordings to the group members. Once the REPORTER has completed this reading--place the worksheet in the group folder.
